Family & Consumer Sciences
Smithtown High School's Family & Consumer Sciences Department offers a variety of courses that will enable a student to succeed in their personal and professional lives. As part of the Career and Technical Education department, CTE, we give students the life skills needed to manage the challenges needed to live and work in a diverse global society. Family & Consumer Sciences prepares our students with the skills needed to live in the 21st Century. Our department is dedicated to ensure all of our students learn how to think critically, solve problems and make informative and knowledgeable decisions in all aspects of their lives.
